NBA 2K25: Best Anthony Edwards Build - Elite Dunking and Scoring

Hey what’s up, ballers? We’re jumping into the NBA 2K25 MyPlayer Builder to create the best Anthony Edwards build possible. Edwards is a monster on the court; this guy has the athletic ability, the confidence and the scoring skills that make him a real threat. In real life people know him for his powerful dunks, effortless shooting, and fierce defense; we’re going to capture all that energy in our MyPlayer build so you can dominate like the real Ant-Man…

Attributes Breakdown:

Position: SG

Height: 6 feet 4

Weight: 178 lbs

Wingspan: 7’0″

Close Shot: 84

This stat ensures you finish strong near the rim. An 84 Close Shot gives you Paint Prodigy on Silver. That’s easy points in the paint.

Driving Layup: 80

Not the flashiest number, but it’s reliable. You’ll get Layup Mixmaster on Bronze and Float Game on Silver, plus Arial Wizard on Hall of Fame. That gives you the hang-time to complete tough layups and alley-oops.

Driving Dunk: 96

Now we’re cooking. A 96 Driving Dunk lets you pull off those top-notch contact dunks when you jump off two feet. I goofed a bit here—this should go hand in hand with an 85 Vertical to grab Hall of Fame Posterizer. Make that change, and you’ll slam it home over everyone.

Standing Dunk: 41

Standing Dunk isn’t a big deal here. It’s just enough to grab the odd put-back or easy score right under the hoop.

Post Control: 70

This gives you a bit to work with down low. It helps you trick defenders and maybe sink some post-fade shots if you need to.

Mid-Range Shot: 87

This rating’s ideal to sink that mid-range jumper. You’ll get Silver Shooting Badges like Deadeye and Shifty Shooter. You can sink those mid-range shots without hesitation.

Three-Point Shot: 83

This gives you range from deep. An 83 Three-Point Shot lets you have Limitless Range on Bronze. It’s great to shoot from far out and spread the floor.

Free Throw: 81

This is enough to make your free shots when you’re fouled. You won’t need to stress about missing those crucial free throws.

Pass Accuracy: 78

A 78 Pass Accuracy gives you Versatile Visionary on Bronze, plus Silver Dimer and Break Starter. You’ll make precise and showy passes without breaking a sweat.

Ball Handle: 86

An 86 Ball Handle means you’re nimble and swift. This unlocks Silver Ankle Assassin, Handles for Days, and Unpluckable. It’s enough to dribble and keep defenders at bay.

Speed with Ball: 91

This is when you kick it into high gear. A 91 Speed with Ball opens up Hall of Fame Lightning Launch. You’ll zoom past defenders and pull off quick explosive moves.

Interior Defense: 52

It’s not the toughest here, but it’s good enough to stand your ground inside. Your main focus is on guarding the outer areas.

Perimeter Defense: 85

Lock it down. You’ll get Silver Challenger, Silver On-Ball Menace (pretty much this year’s Clamps), Silver Pick Dodger, and Gold Off-Ball Pest. Your defense is spot-on stopping shooters and keeping pace with dribble drives.

Steal: 73

Pretty good for grabbing steals. You’ll get Silver Interceptor and Bronze Glove ensuring you’re catching those passes and messing up the offense.

Block: 68

Enough for some chase-down blocks with Bronze High-Flying Denier. Not a block machine, but you can still make plays.

Offensive Rebound: 31

Not a main focus here. You care more about scoring and defense than grabbing boards.

Defensive Rebound: 60

Just enough to get Bronze Rebound Chaser. Don’t count on getting every board, but you’ll grab your share.

Speed: 86

Fast and explosive. You’ll move around the court reaching spots before your opponents.

Agility: 84

Stay nimble for fast breaks and direction changes… this helps you drive to the hoop and stick to your opponent.

Strength: 52

You’re not a powerhouse, but don’t sweat it. Your game is more about skill and athleticism.

Vertical: 82

Try to bump this up to 85 if you want Hall of Fame Posterizer. At 82, you’re still getting good air time and slam power.

Gameplay Tips:

  • Attack the Rim: Go hard at the basket and slam some fierce dunks. Keep an eye out for alley-oop chances and aim for spectacular finishes. Your dunking skills can embarrass defenders.

  • Mid-Range Game: Stand tall and sink those smooth mid-range shots. Make some room, get a clear shot, and punish those defenders when you’re between the paint and the three-point line. Don’t hesitate to shoot that jumper when you’re feeling it.

  • Three-Point Splash: Shoot from long range!!! Force defenders to guard you and use that room to drive or pass – your three-point shot will keep defenses in check and create more scoring opportunities for you.

  • Fernando Diaz

Fernando is doing what he always did, sharing his honest opinions about games whenever he can. The difference is now he is writing and not talking about it.
