10 Upcoming Games Like Command & Conquer: Fresh Modern Strategy Titles for 2025 and Beyond

Remember that crazy game of Command & Conquer where you built your base for hours just to send all your units against the opponent’s? That alone still pumps me full of adrenaline. C&C had it all-from the behemoth that is the Mammoth Tank to the stealth action of a Commando. It’s been a while since we got a new C&C game.

Few of the following titles possess promise and will scratch that itch. By which I, of course, mean a game in which you build a base, command units, and pull off those sweet, last-second victories that see you jump from your chair. Those kinds of games immediately evoke memories of classic GDI vs. Nod battles or wacky Red Alert missions. So, as we wait for the next big C&C game, let us keep our eyes open for these new strategy games. They could be the closest thing to what we’re missing.
