Sid Meier’s Civilization VII is finally here, and if you’re anything like me (a casual gamer with the strategic depth of a goldfish), you probably launched it, stared blankly at the screen, and thought, “Okay, now what?” Between managing cities, researching technologies, and trying not to accidentally nuke your own capital (it happens!), there’s a LOT to click.

This guide is designed to help with that. You don’t need to become a hotkey expert to enjoy Civ 7; but knowing a few of the defaults can really make things easier… Consider this your straightforward reference for all the default keyboard controls & shortcuts in one place.

PC Keyboard Controls & Shortcuts

Pan Camera Down: KEYBOARD DOWN

Pan Camera Up: KEYBOARD UP
