Oblivion Remastered Cheat Codes – Console Commands to Break the Rules in The Elder Scrolls IV
Welcome to Chaos
Occasionally obeying the rules in Oblivion Remastered is… well, rule-like. Maybe you’ve been killed by the same Ogre for the tenth time. Maybe you’re tired of traversing Cyrodiil like some kind of fantasy mailman. Or maybe, just maybe, you woke up this morning and thought : “You know what this stunning remastered world needs? Me, as an invincible flying god raining down 500 wheels of cheese!”
If any of that sounds familiar, then hiya, buddy, to the awesome, game-breaking world of Oblivion Remastered cheat codes! Forget destiny, forget prophecies – we’re gonna make Tamriel go over our knee courtesy of the powerful developer console magic.
BUT WAIT! THERE’S A CATCH (Isn’t There Always?):
Before you go all chaos-god on me, keep this in mind: cheating with these cheats is akin to telling the achievement system, “Nah, I’m good.” Console commands WILL DISABLE ACHIEVEMENTS/TROPHIES on that save file. Kaput. Finito. Gone. So if you’re after that 100% completion, back away slowly! If you’re here for a good time and maybe god-like powers? Let’s get this party started!!
How to Unleash the Cheaty Goodness in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered
(It’s easy promise…); First, invoke the mystical portal known as the tilde key (~). It’s likely hiding near the 1 key. Prod it. Ta-da! The console line appears.
Gingerly type in your command of choice (get it spelled correctly, don’t worry). If it needs an item code (search ’em up online!) or a number, type that in as well. Hit Enter with flair. Bathe in the lovely, cheaty consequences.
Become Basically a God
tgm: God Mode. The classic cheat. Unpigeonable, unlimited Magicka/Stamina, never running out of arrows. Re-type to turn off if you ever feel like being mortal again (why would you?)
tcl: Toggle Collision (NoClip). Walls are mere suggestions. Fly across mountains, peek at ceilings, find secret locations (or just fall into the floor)
tdetect: Toggle AI Detection. Poof! You’re John Cena. Invisible. No one can detect you. Take all, sneak all. Handy for sneaky thieves or just messing with guards. Toggle off when you need attention
Instant Loot & Spells – Fantasy Amazon Prime-style
player.additem [ID] [#]: Gimme Stuff! Instant loot and gear command. Search up the [ID] for that Daedric sword or pile of gold on the internet, how many [#] you feel you deserve, and zap! Christmas in Cyrodiil. (example: player.additem f 10000 for 10k gold)
psb: Player Spell Book (All Spells). Why learn when you can know? This puts all the spells in the game into your spellbook. Instantly become the Arch-Mage your mother always wanted you to be. Warning: May cause decision paralysis
Level Up Faster Than a Speeding Mudcrab
advlevel: Instant Level Up. Ding! Get a level now. Easy, efficient
advskill [skill] [#]: Skill Up Fast – so tired of whacking mudcrabs to level Blade? Type advskill blade 10000 (or any skill + enormous number). Grind smart, not hard
player.setlevel [#]: Choose Your Level – cut the journey, go straight to the destination. player.setlevel 50 makes you level 50
player.setav [skill/attribute] [-]: Direct stat control – set your Strength to god-tier levels (player.setav strength 500) or max out any skill (player.setav sneak 100)
Obstacles Are For Chumps
unlock: Universal Key. Click on that annoying locked chest or door (even quest-locked ones sometimes!), type unlock. Welcome to your stuff. Lockpicks are for peasants
lock [#]: Lock it Back Up? Okay, weird flex, but you can lock things too. lock 100 makes them unpickable using normal ways if you’re feeling nasty
Making Problems (and People) Disappear
kill: Instant Delete Button. Target that annoying Bandit, Clannfear, or… uh… citizen, and type kill. Poof. He’s gone. BE SUPER cautious not to kill necessary quest NPCs unless you enjoy messing up your game!
killall: Area Wipe. Overwhelmed? killall kills everything non-essential around you. Use with caution, as it has unintended victims & repercussions!!
player.setcrimegold 0: Get Out of Jail Free Card. Oops, bounty on your head? This command makes the guards forget you’re even there. Crime? What crime?
player.payfinethief: Pay Bounty, Keep Stolen Goods. The slightly more “legit” method of clearing your name without losing all that five-finger discount booty
Travel Instantly – Because Walking is Overrated
movetoqt: Teleport to Quest Target. The life-saver. Zap directly to your quest marker. No more walking long distances!
coc [LocationID]: Indoor Teleport. Travel instantly to named interior cells (like coc ChorrolMagesGuild). Needs Location ID, look ’em up!
coe [X],[Y]: Outdoor Teleport. Go jump to exact coordinates outdoors. Needs coordinates
Quest Cheats – DANGER ZONE!
completequest [questID]: Makes Quest Complete. Marks quest done, gives reward. Useful to use on bugged quests but can spoil story progression
SetStage [questID] [stage]: Skip Quest Steps. Bump a quest up to a specified stage number. The main way to fix broken quest steps. Needs Quest ID and Stage number
caqs: Complete All Quest Stages. The button of doom. Attempts to complete all of them. Generally good at screwing up your game unless you’re just messing around on a throwaway save. AVOID THIS unless you want absolute chaos
Just Plain Fun Stuff
resurrect: Back From the Dead! Click on a corpse, type resurrect. Presto! Zombie buddy (or foe). resurrect 1 makes them retain their belongings
setscale [#]: Become Giant/Tiny! Click yourself or an NPC. setscale 2 doubles up, setscale 0.5 halves. Giant guardsmen? Tiny Daedra? The world is your bizarrely-proportioned oyster
ShowRaceMenu: Mid-Game Makeover. Relaunches the character creation screen. Re-change your race, face, hair. Warning: This will typically reset your stats & skills so use caution!!
Final Words
Ta-da! Your key to ultimate power, ease, and bald-faced ridiculousness in Oblivion Remastered. Now go forth and cheat responsibly… or irresponsibly… Just don’t disregard the achievement thing, and try not to vaporize your save file! Have fun adventurers!!
