Later in the game, when you are able to read the ancient text at Layla’s Cave.
This slab tells you about a location that Bayek wants to return to.
How to Solve The Riddle in Layla’s Cave
Go back to the animus and as bayek check your map. Go to the East of the Oasis you call home. Meaning Siwa. In the picture below you can see the location (the blue arrow) that is where we want to go. It is near a fork in the road as well.
Once you arrive, there will be a lot of Hyenas at the entrance. Deal with them and the treasures inside will be yours for the taking. The layout inside will be similar to Layla’s Cave in the future.
Once you are done with that, you can exit out of the animus and return as Layla. Go outside and she will mention something about the cave.

What about the “relic of power” that the tablet Bayek wrote mentioned. I do not believe that Hotep Cavern is the cave we are looking for. I don’t think that Bayek would place a tablet talking about a separate location that is in the location it’s talking about. So, I simply think you are wrong. Keep looking.
I found a legendary warrior bow in that cave.
The clue on the tablet\marker speaks of a cliff side & small hallow not easily found. I agree, that the Hotep Cavern is NOT the place of the relic of great power as who puts a marker in the cave they are already in?
Cliff side means up, not ground level entrance like Hotep Cavern is ground level. The riddle also states ‘accessable only by a nearby fork in the road’. “ONLY accessable” had me looking all over the western side of the Black Desert (parts nearest to Siwa) -no luck, but found many bandits to loot, ha-ha.
I also flew directly East, out of Siwa, and that landed me at the rock formation near the shrine\burial place at the nase of the large fork in the road. We players found an ancient tablet under water there. On the “backside” of that shrine\burial (outside) there is a small doorway blocked by collapsed rocks. Can’t break them, but it seemed to fit the riddle. It could also just be a collapsed entrance to the burial place and it means nothing.
We players better be able to find this ‘now’ since we can read the tablet now, and not have to wait for some DLC stuff later.
Yeah, it’s not the cave she is in, but if you do go to her cave as Bayek she remarks on it as you say. I’m pretty sure the cave he means is the one near his sons sarcophagus, it’s where you rescue a boy who was chased in there by hyena’s but not the ones you say. I think it’s that because there’s an old kingdom tablet in there, that’s the object of power…maybe.
Maybe he means the tomb of the Nomads, that has first civ tech in there and it’s east of Siwa.
Oh wait, no it doesn’t have first civ tech, my bad. Now I’m curious, what is he talking about? It would have to be a first civ place, why else would he write a tablet about it? There are a few places east of Siwa with a fork in the road, some seem to go nowhere, it may be worth exploring a bit.
