1 – Beach

– Make a habit of always examining your surrounding (Press Tab to check which area that available for interaction)

– Use WASD to navigate your surrounding

– Talk to the person in front of you

– Press [R] to exit this area

 

 

2 – Bridge

– Here you can press f1 and select “map” to check those 4 areas.

– Feel free to explore

– I started by going right of the screen (Press Q or E for fast traveling)

 

 

3 – Airport

– Talk with other 2 students

– Press [R] to exit this area

– Talk with other 2 students

5 Hotel

– Press Tab to open the map while moving around

– Move forward to the swimming pool area and speak with all the students (there are 3 of them)

– Get inside the hotel (Hotel Lobby)

– Talk with 2 other students

– Press [R] and go to “Restaurant”

 

 

5C Restaurant

– Talk with another 2 students

– Press [R] to go outside

– Leave the hotel

– Move left until you meet Jabberwock Park

– When you’re done talking with everyone, an event should take place

– Talk with Byakuya, an event will play

– Talk with the rest, another event will play

Chapter 1-1: Destination Despair – Daily Life

1. Hotel

– Enter your room (You can find it from the map, press “tab”) for a cutscene

 

 

2. Hajime’s Room

– Find one at the upper-right side, the one with Monokuma picture (1/30)

– Press [R] to exit, Head to Hotel Lobby and Press [R] to go to Restaurant

(Make a habit to always talk to everyone and checking around)

 

 

3. Restaurant

– Talk To Everyone

– Talk to Byakuya to progress

– Exit and leave the hotel

– Move left to Rocketpunch Market

 

 

4. Rocketpunch Market

– Use WASD to find Monokuma picture near vending machine (2/30)

– Feel free to check the vending machine

– Press [R] to exit and move further left to Airport

 

 

5. Airport

– Find Monokuma Picture at the baggage section (3/30)

– Press [R] to exit and move further left

 

 

6. Beach

– In this beach there is a vending machine (MonoMono Yachine) that works just like the old DanganRonpa 1

-Press [R] to exit and head left to Central Island and go to Jabberwock Park

 

 

7. Jabberwock Park

-Click at the black object in the center to trigger cutscene

 

 

8. Free Time

– Throughout this game, you will be given a “Free Time” where you can talk with fellow students to learn more about them and eventually unlock a new “Hope Fragments” which is necessary to unlock skills

– You can bond with other students by simply talk with them and give them presents that you can obtain via Vending Machine at the Rocketpunch Market or MonoMono Yachine at the beach.

– You can check students location by opening map (Press F1 and Map)

– I will not cover the student interactions in this guide since i’m gonna let you explore by your own. However, i highly recommend you to use this “Free Time” instead of skipping it

– Make sure to buy a skill from Manami. In order to do that, press f1, select report card and select Manami Icon. If you still confuse about with skill to choose, you never go wrong by going with Vocabulary & Ambidextrousness

– Also don’t forget to check your pet too

– And finally, make a habit to save your game frequently (Press f1, system and save)

– After the announcement head to Jabberwock Park

– Talk with Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu

 

 

10. Restaurant

– Exit your room and head to restaurant and scene will play

– I personally love to pick the wrong answer intentionally just to see others reaction ( It’s hilarious especially when involving Monokuma)

-Go around the room and notice the numbers written on the wall

– Number 3 above Monomi

– Number 9 above the desk ( you can see the line, thus it is 9 not 6)

– Number 7 above the TV

– Number 5 appear if you open the closet

– Grab the hanger from the closet

– Press [R] to close the closet

 

– Examine the Safe with 4 digits number and enter “3 9 5 7” and press OK to obtain “Camera” and “USB disk”

 

– Examine The Desk

– Examine the middle drawer to get Pliers

– Examine the right drawer and get uncompress password

– Press [R] to exit

 

– Right click at “The Plier” & Left Click it on “The Hanger” to obtain “Wire”

– Use “The Wire” on the bed to obtain “Key”

– Use the key on the left drawer at the desk to obtain “Scissor”

– Use “Scissor” on Monokuma Plushie to obtain “Battery”

– Use “Battery” on “Camera”

– Left click “The Camera” to examine it

– Use “USB Disk” on the laptop (try to use it twice until they prompt you to enter the password)
