Outward – Eating (and Drinking) for Stamina Recovery
/
While stamina naturally regenerates over time, certain effects can significantly boost this recovery—particularly useful for challenging fights or extended sprints. Foods like fruits, vegetables, eggs, and especially water can hasten stamina recovery. It’s important to note that while the rejuvenating effects of water and food can be combined, food-driven recovery tends to last considerably longer.

Stamina-boosting Recipes
Gaberries (or Boiled Gaberries):
Provides 75 food value and Stamina Recovery 1.
Even though the boost might seem minor, it’s more effective and longer-lasting than simply drinking water. What’s more, this effect combines with the water’s. While there’s little reason to cook them unless they’re nearing spoilage, since you’ll need them raw for jam, it’s wise to keep some stored for Meat Stew and Gaberry Jam/Tartine recipes, which we’ll discuss later.
Miner’s Omelette (makes 3 servings): Combine 2 eggs with a raw Common Mushroom.
Offers 175 food value along with Stamina Recovery 3 and Health Recovery 1.
If you’re seeking a stamina boost, this is your go-to. But be cautious: eggs might be better used in Pungent Paste, and Common Mushrooms are key for a Poison Antidote in alchemy, so consider your needs carefully.
