Teamfight Tactics (TFT) – Spatula (The Giant Golden Weapon) Guide
Items in Teamfight Tactics drop randomly, with nearly all of them giving some form of stat bonus. Except the Spatula. The giant golden weapon, wielded by the manatee Urf in the lore of League of Legends, does absolutely nothing on its own.
But when the Spatula is combined with another item, it can change the affiliation of a single unit, grant bonuses or make a champion cost nothing. Here’s the full list of items the Spatula can build into.
- B.F Sword – Youmuu’s Ghostblade (You are an Assassin)
- Recurve Bow – Blade of the Ruined King (You are a Blademaster)
- Needlessly Large Rod – Yummi (You are a Sorcerer)
- Tear of the Goddess – Darkin (You are a Demon)
- Chain Vest – Knight’s Vow (You are a Knight)
- Negatron Cloak – Runaan’s Hurricane (Attacks 2 extra targets on attack. Extra attacks deal 50 percent damage)
- Giant’s Belt – Frozen Mallet (You are Glacial)
- Spatula – Force of Nature (Wearer does not count against the unit cap)
These items are incredibly powerful and can swing a game in your favor, but they are risky to craft. Being stuck with a Blademaster composition without a Draven coming in to help your team might lose you the game. It’s all about risk and reward with those tiny pieces of golden metal. That said, if you ever get the chance to craft Force of Nature, just do it. Having an extra unit on the board is almost always worth the risk.
