Back before the Burning Crusade in World of Warcraft, there was no Armory. If you wanted to see a player’s gear before inviting them to your group, you had to find them in-game and inspect them directly. And you couldn’t even inspect players from the opposite faction until patch 2.4. On top of that, you couldn’t view their spec or talents just by looking. Sticking with that vibe, Blizzard isn’t rolling out an Armory or profile pages for WoW Classic at its initial launch.
