WoW Classic – Important Priest Class Quests - Guide

Priests definitely have it pretty cushy when it comes to class quests, especially during the leveling phase. Plus, they’ve got a unique twist: the race you pick actually changes your gameplay more than it does for other classes, thanks to unique Priest spells each race gets. It adds a cool little extra something to how you play, depending on your race.

  • For the Undead: Once you hit Level 10, make your way back to the Undercity and grab the Touch of Weakness quest from Father Lankester hanging out in the War Quarter. Have a chat with the banshee Priest trainer, Aelthalyste, and she’ll hook you up with the Touch of Weakness spell. Then at Level 20, do it all over again to snag the powerful Devouring Plague spell.

  • For the Trolls: When you reach Level 10, head back to Orgrimmar and find Ur’kyo, the Troll Priest trainer in the Valley of Spirits, to start the Hex of Weakness quest. Talk to him once more to finish the quest and get the Hex of Weakness spell. At Level 20, you’re back to Orgrimmar again. This time, seek out High Priest Zayus in the Valley of Spirits for the Shadowguard quest, then circle back to Ur’kyo to wrap it up and grab the Shadowguard spell.

  • For the Night Elves: At Level 10, you can grab the Returning Home quest from your Priest trainer in Teldrassil. Then, head to Darnassus and chat with Priest trainer, Alathea, to finish the quest. She’ll give you the Stars of Elune quest next. Accept it, talk to her once more, and you’ll get the Starshards spell. At Level 20, it’s back to Darnassus again to find Astarii in the Temple of the Moon. She’ll offer you the Elune’s Grace quest. Take it, then find Alathea again to finish the quest and earn the Elune’s Grace spell.

  • For the Humans: Starting at Level 10, swing by Elwynn Forest and find Priestess Josetta in Goldshire to pick up the Desperate Prayer quest. Then, make your way to Stormwind City and have a word with the High Priestess in the Cathedral to complete the quest and snag the Desperate Prayer spell. At Level 20, it’s back to Stormwind for you. This time, find Brother Joshua’s Priest trainer for the Arcane Feedback quest. Accept it, talk to the High Priestess again, and you’ll get the Feedback spell.

  • For the Dwarves: Kick things off at Level 10 in Dun Morogh. Find Maxan, the Priest trainer in Kharanos, to start the Desperate Prayer quest. Then, it’s off to Stormwind to talk to the High Priestess in the Cathedral, wrap up the quest, and get your hands on the Desperate Prayer spell. At Level 20, you’re headed to Ironforge to find Toldren in the Mystic Ward for the A Lack of Fear quest. Accept it, have a chat with the High Priest, and you’ll score the Fear Ward spell.
