Call of Duty Modern Warfare – How to Edit Weapon Loadouts On the Fly

To edit a loadout in previous iterations of Call of Duty, players had to wait for a moment of reprieve in between matches. Gone is that wait because in Modern Warfare, you can change your loadout at any point during a match.

To change your loadout during a match, pause the game, select “Change Loadout” and when you’re at the loadout selection screen, select Gunsmith.

In here is where you can edit your primary and secondary gun attachments, perks, grenades and field equipment. If you select that loadout after editing it, the next time you spawn, your new loadout will be equipped. This is especially useful for those times when you level up mid-match and unlock a weapon you want to try.
