Be sure to build a kitchen. It’s crucial that the environment around the kitchen is not threatening to your crew.
Crew eats when their schedule is on leisure time. Ensure your crew has enough leisure time. Providing 2 hours in a row of leisure time at some point during their schedule should suffice, allowing them enough time to travel back to their designated leisure time ship and eat.
