eFootball PES 2021 – How to Improve Your Players & Team

Naturally, your objective should be to replace weaker players with stronger ones, but once you’ve substantially improved your lineup by signing real-life soccer stars, you’ll want to develop them further. (You may also want to maximize the potential of your less talented players while they’re still part of your club, even if it’s only for a short time.)

First off, all players in your starting lineup or substitutes who complete a match will earn experience points, leveling up and improving their individual attributes, often increasing their overall rating. But aside from this organic progression, there’s another way to level up your players — by converting players you no longer need into Trainers.

To do this, go to the Club House menu, then tap on the My Team option. Once there, tap on Trainers. If you haven’t added any yet, you’ll need to tap Convert Players. This will display a list of all the players on your team, and you can sort them by Position, Overall Rating, and other criteria.

We suggest sorting primarily by these two, as it will give you the best chance of identifying lower-rated players to convert into Trainers. Be aware that, as the game warns, these players will be “lost” permanently and cannot be reverted back to regular players!

These Trainers can then be used to manually improve your better players. The base effect of each Trainer depends on their overall rating and level at the time of conversion. However, other factors also play a role, particularly how similar their position is to the position of the player you’re training.

For example, a Center Forward Trainer won’t be as effective if used on a Goalkeeper. That means you shouldn’t select Trainers randomly — choose the ones that will have the greatest impact on the target player to maximize this feature’s benefits.
