How to Unlock All Jobs

Below, players can find a complete list of all 24 jobs that they can unlock in the game, including a secret one that becomes available after beating the game.

Freelancer	This is the game’s starting class.
White Mage	Players need to defeat Selene and Dag in order to unlock White Mage job.
Black Mage	This job is unlocked after Elvis joins the party.
Monk	Players need to defeat Horten in order to unlock the Monk class.
Vanguard	Players need to defeat Selene and Dag in order to unlock Vanguard.
Thief	Once players have defeated Bernard, the Thief class is unlocked.
Bard	Players need to defeat Orpheus in order to unlock the Bard class.
Beastmaster	Beastmaster is unlocked after players defeat Anihal.
Gambler	In order to unlock the Gamber class, players need to defeat Shirley in the game.
Berserker	Prince Castor is the boss that carries the Berserker Asterisk.
Red Mage	To unlock the Red Mage job, players need to defeat Roddy in the game.
Ranger	Players are given a choice to unlock Ranger or Red Mage at the beginning of Chapter #2.
Shieldmaster	Players need to defeat the boss in the Tower Dungeon in Wiswald Tower to unlock the job.
Pictomancer	In the second chapter, players need to defeat the boss at the end of the Wiswald arc to get this job.
Dragoon	Players need to defeat the boss carrying the Dragoon Asterisk at the start of Chapter #3 to get it.
Swordmaster	Swordmaster and Spiritmaster are unlocked during Chapter #3 after defeating both the Asterisk bosses.
Spiritmaster	Swordmaster and Spiritmaster are unlocked during Chapter #3 after defeating both the Asterisk bosses.
Salve-Maker	This requires players to complete a side quest to unlock. For more help on the optional quest, check out our detailed guide.
Oracle	This one is unlocked after defeating the final story boss during Chapter #3.
Bastion	Bastion is one of the three classes that players are allowed to unlock at the very beginning of Chapter #4.
Phantom	Phantom is one of the three classes that players are allowed to unlocked at the very beginning of Chapter #4.
Arcanist	Arcanist is one of the three classes that players are allowed to unlock at the very beginning of Chapter #4.
Hellblade	This one is unlocked after defeating the story boss at the end of Chapter #4.
Bravebearer	In order to unlock the Bravebearer class, players need to defeat a specific enemy in the Valley of Sighs.
