How Do Cards Work?
Back 4 Blood’s Card System provides an intriguing gaming loop. These are essential to the experience since the player may construct a Custom Deck to obtain a variety of various effects such as greater stamina, higher XP, more money, and so on. We’ve covered all there is to know about cards, their kinds, and how the Card System works in Back 4 Blood in this tutorial.
The player will be prompted to draw random cards and pick one at the start of each level. The chosen Cards will be available for the duration of the campaign. The player can strive toward constructions that complement a certain playstyle based on the Cards chosen.
Obtaining new Cards can be done in a few different ways. These may be found in the environment and then bought with in-game cash or obtained via Supply Lines. One thing to keep in mind is that these Cards are permanently unlocked. Before making a selection, it’s a good idea to consider the consequences of various Cards.
In Back 4 Blood, there are two types of cards: corruption cards and active cards.
Corruption Cards
These are the cards drawn by The Director at the start of each level. When these cards are drawn, they bring extra layers of danger to a level.
Active Cards
These are the cards that the player can draw to gain a variety of benefits, such as more stamina, more ammo, and maximum HP, among others. Reflex, Discipline, Brawn, and Fortune are the four categories of Active Cards. Choosing Active Cards that fight Corruption Cards is the general strategy.
