Starmancer - My Crew Member's Not Going on the Contract?

If your crew member hasn’t yet boarded the ship after an hour or two in-game, here are a few things to double-check:

 

  • Do they have Mining turned on and at the top of their list of Job Tasks? (If not, you’ll either have to temporarily disable it so they can sign the contract – or cancel it and send someone else.)

 

  • Look through the ship’s inventory. Is there any ore or metal in there? Check that Stocking Machines are turned on and set to a high priority in Job Tasks. (Having that metal storage zone at the entryway is also beneficial.)

 

  • Is it possible that they won’t be able to board the starship? Is the Airlock locked (it has a grey lock icon on it)?

 

  • Have you double-checked the Contract and assigned a living crew?
