Simply press the Square button (or X on Xbox) and try to knock the ball out of your opponent’s hands to grab it. Several factors come into play when attempting to steal the ball. To begin with, increasing your steal stat will enhance your chances of actually stealing the ball. As always, you may do this with virtual currency (VC), which can be bought with microtransactions or earned organically as you play more games.

It’s worth mentioning that pressing the appropriate button at the right moment increases your chances of stealing successfully. For example, you should keep a close eye on your opponent’s movements and only steal the ball when they aren’t touching it, such as in the middle of a dribble. You must avoid making physical contact with the ball handler’s hands, body, or forearms. A personal foul, often known as a reach-in foul, results in free throws for the other team.
