Neverlooted Dungeon
If you miss the days of classic dungeon crawlers like Arx Fatalis & Ultima Underworld then Neverlooted Dungeon should be on your list to check out next year. Developed and published by Wild Mage Games, Neverlooted Dungeon is old-school to the bone, with classically flat 3D graphics, intricate dungeons, and gameplay that relies more on creativity than aggression.
Neverlooted Dungeon’s deadly traps are combined with realistic physics and basically infinite player choice to allow for some awesome solutions. Do things like use tables and chairs to get across chasms and over spikes when Neverlooted Dungeon launches on Steam in the back half of 2023.

Legends of Amberland II: The Song of Trees
If the old-school 3D isn’t nostalgic enough for you, how about a 2D, first-person dungeon crawler with an interface that looks like it came straight from the 90s? If that sounds more pleasant to you, then follow Legends of Amberland II very closely! The game is directed by Silver Lemur Games and is clearly inspired by classics like Might & Magic and Wizardry.
Gather up your party of ruffians and get ready to explore a massive open world and engage in turn-based combat in a game that has awesome combat and lore in equal measure. You can dig into the world of Legends of Amberland II Song of the Trees when the game launches sometime in 2023.

Monomyth
Hidden deep in the abandoned fortress city of Lysandria is a gift. A divine gift that might have the power to quell the wrath of the gods and put an end to the endless storm that ravages the surface of all civilization. Without the blessing of your father, the king, you decide to travel to Lysandria and try to find the gift yourself and save whatever is left of humanity.
This is the premise for Monomyth, a first-person dungeon crawling RPG with traps, monsters, and plenty of characters to interact with. There’s currently no release date for this one, but keep an eye out and prepare to fight your way to the core of Lysandria when Monomyth lands on Steam sometime next year.

Dark and Darker
Dungeon crawlers are never exactly a walk in the park, but this next game will put your skills and patience to the test. It’s a game called Dark and Darker, and it’s a hardcore RPG where you’ll have to brave the horrors of a dungeon, but at least you won’t have to do it alone.
Developed and published by IRONMACE, Dark and Darker changes up the dungeon crawling game with its PvPvE gameplay. Dive into challenging, complex dungeons with your friends and face off against other live players hunting down the very same treasure you are. Fight to the death for your loot when Dark and Darker launches at the end of 2023.

Dungeons of the Amber Griffin
Our final game is Dungeons of the Amber Griffin, another first-person dungeon crawler with some fantastic graphics and visual effects. Dungeons of the Amber Griffin brings their folklore to life using classic RPG mechanics and systems.
Dungeons of the Amber Griffin is being developed and produced by Frozengem Studio, and it will put you in control of a team of four daredevils.
