Improved Garrisons

The Improved Garrisons mod for Mount & Blade Bannerlord enhances the management of your castles and settlements by adding an Improved Garrison to each of your fiefs. This feature grants access to advanced and customizable options like recruitment, garrison training, and guard parties with custom AI to safeguard your properties. The mod’s primary focus is on compatibility, convenience, and delivering a balanced experience for your Bannerlord gameplay. With the Improved Garrisons mod, you can effortlessly manage & protect your properties, granting you greater control over your in-game experience.

Persistent Empires

Bannerlord is about to get an exciting new multiplayer mod called Persistent Empires. It’s an upgrade from the original Persistent World mod (from Warband) with more customization options through various classes. You can dive into diplomacy, join factions, wage wars, and participate in field battles and sieges. The best part is the Interactive economy that’s completely driven by players, allowing you to gather resources, craft items, and make a real impact on the game world. And if you’re into immersive roleplay, they’ve got optional systems for that too!

You can join a bunch of different factions inspired by real and fictional places, like the Roman-like Calradoi Empire, the Celt-inspired Battanii, the Dryatics based on Dacia, the Scythian-like Saka, and the Quyaz Republic which is a mix of Carthage and some creative imagination. They all have their own unique quests, too, so you can get into some sneaky spy stuff, diplomatic missions, and secret missions. Sounds fun, right?

Kingdoms of Arda

Bannerlord is set to receive a complete makeover with a mod inspired by the Lord of the Rings saga. The Kingdoms of Arda mod will whisk you away to the enchanting realm of Middle-earth, where you’ll have the chance to interact with iconic characters and factions straight from the books and films. Embark on the legendary journey of the Fellowship of the Ring, or participate in monumental battles like Helm’s Deep and the Pelennor Fields, either as a celebrated hero or a humble foot soldier.

Kingdoms of Arda offers a bunch of playable races, like elves, dwarves, orcs, uruk, and even cunning goblins. You’ll also encounter Trolls, Ents & Mumakils, and get to explore 25 major factions & several minor ones. Best of all Kingdoms of Arda will be playable in both single-player and multiplayer modes.

Keep in mind, while most mods on this list are already released and just a click away on Steam Workshop, Kingdoms of Arda is still in the works. It’s expected to drop by the end of this year or in 2024 so stay tuned!
