Physical Wounds

Physical wounds are the type of damage your characters will most commonly encounter. They occur due to weapon strikes, explosions, falls and offensive spells. To heal physical damage, you can cast healing spells or let your characters rest.

Unconsciousness/Death

If a character’s hit points fall below zero, they either fall unconscious or die. Unconscious characters are temporarily inactive, but can be revived by resting or through healing. If a character’s hit points go significantly below zero, they die and can only be revived using the Raise Dead spell or by paying a temple to perform the service.

Weakness

Characters can become weak due to fatigue, hunger, or certain attacks. This condition reduces the character’s maximum hit points and their ability to act or fight. You can cure this condition by letting your character rest or by casting the Cure Weakness spell.

Poison and Disease

Poison and disease are detrimental conditions inflicted by traps, certain spells, or creature attacks. They reduce character attributes, combat efficiency, and spell points over time. To cure these, you can visit a temple or cast the appropriate Cure Disease or Cure Poison spell.

Insanity/Afraid

Some attacks may make characters Insane or Afraid, affecting their attributes. These conditions can be removed using the Cure Insanity and Remove Fear spells, respectively.

Cursed

A character who has been cursed due to certain spell attacks has a 50% chance of failing at their actions. Use the Remove Curse spell to get rid of this condition.

Asleep

Characters can be put to sleep by certain creature attacks. They will wake up when attacked or after resting. Alternatively, use the Awaken spell to revive them instantly.

Stoned/Paralyzed

Characters can become frozen in Stoned or Paralyzed conditions, preventing them from performing any actions. The Stone to Flesh and Cure Paralysis spells can counter these conditions.

Zombie

If you cast the Reanimate spell on a dead character, they become a zombie. Zombified characters are unable to restore their hit points or spell points through resting. To cure this, you need to take them to a temple.

Eradicated

Some monsters can eradicate characters, a fatal condition that also destroys their bodies. You can resurrect eradicated characters at temples or by using the Resurrection spell.

Managing your characters’ damage and ailments is crucial for progression in Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor. Monitor your characters’ health and conditions, taking necessary measures to ensure their survival. Visit temples when needed, but keep in mind that these services often come at a cost. Best of luck in your journey!
