EA FC 24: How to Score Directly from Corners

If you’re tired of that same old corner strategy and are looking to shock your pals with some straight-up ridiculous goals, you’ve clicked on the right guide. Let’s turn those corners into gold. I’ve got the lowdown on how to score directly from corners in FC 24. So, grab your controller and let’s get ballin’!

Peep the Keeper’s Game

Before even thinking of making that killer move, you gotta check out the opponent’s goalie. If the dude’s lounging away from his line, that’s your cue, my friend! That net’s begging for some sweet, sweet goals. Remember, if Mr. Keeper is sticking to the line, it’s gonna be a tougher shot, but hey, no guts, no glory, right?

Picking Your Corner Champ

Okay, so first things first – we need a killer kicker:

Preferred Foot Flex: Aim for the inswinging corner, where the ball does a sly curl towards the goal. Basically, make sure your player’s dominant foot’s vibing with the side you’re kicking from.

Power Up: Don’t go getting some hulk with a 90+ power rating. You’ll end up knocking out a virtual bird or something. I’d say chill around the 85 power rating. That’s the sweet spot.

Curvy Kicks: You want that ball to dance mid-air? Then peep the curve stat. Like with power, 85‘s where it’s at. Too much or too little just ain’t gonna cut it.

Ball’s Trajectory Trickery

Now, here’s where the magic happens. It’s all in the swerve, baby:

Right Stick Realness: Move that stick all the way to the far end of the circle. Wait for it… You wanna see that “inside foot curled” text pop up. Now, nudge it just a tiny bit upwards till you see “inside foot low”. And then? Slide it back down for that “inside foot curled” goodness.

Directional Drill: Grab your left stick (or directional buttons if you’re old-school) and aim towards the center of the 6-yard box. Like, right smack in the middle.

Power Play

Alright, MVP, it’s go time:

Maxed-Out Moves: Go hard or go home, right? Hold down that cross button till it’s full. We’re talking THREE bars, fam. The power’s gonna give that ball the zest it needs to swerve past those clueless defenders.

Power Player Pro Tip: If your kicker’s power is some insane 90+ (dang, dude!), then maybe ease up just a tad. You don’t wanna overshoot and end up in the stands.
