HDR stands for High Dynamic Range & it’s like giving your game’s graphics a shot of adrenaline. Colors get more vivid, contrasts sharper, & the whole scene on your screen just comes alive with details.
Now in a racing game like WRC, HDR can make a whole world of difference… You could be cruising at dusk & the way the HDR makes the sunset light up your dashboard?? It’s pretty sick. But not every setup can handle the heat of HDR & maybe you’re just looking for a more classic gaming vibe so you think about turning it off.
Here’s the scoop on how to handle the HDR settings in EA Sports WRC:
- Hit up the game & stop at the main menu…
- If you’re gaming with Xbox you’re gonna press X. PlayStation crew you’ve got Square to hit & PC players? It’s F1 for you.
- You’re gonna wanna look for ‘brightness and HDR settings’ – that’s your target right there.
- If your monitor’s acting like HDR is a foreign concept?? You won’t see these options but if you’re equipped you’re good to go.
- Flick that HDR to ON if you want everything extra crisp & real or OFF if you’re keeping it old school… Dial in the nits & brightness just how you like it.
