New Plant X Seed Pods: A Game Changer!

You heard right, there’s a new type of Plant X seed pod in the game; these little green wonders are just waiting to be found… One of these can give you up to 40 seeds – talk about a jackpot!

Safe & Sound Locations

Now the swamp in Ark can be a real headache, what with all the critters waiting to pounce. But don’t sweat it; I’ve got some spots where you can collect seeds stress-free…

GPS Coordinates: Your Path to Success

The best spot I’ve scoped out is around 52, 85.5… Start from the Green OB at about 60.9, 76.1, head towards the ocean & keep an eye out for this river and waterfall. There’s a rock that points towards a cliff – that’s your sign. Head northwest & right at the forest edge, you’ll find plenty of seed pods. And if you got a flyer, it’s even easier.

Don’t Miss the Red Plant Seed Pods!

Besides green, there’s also red plant seed pods… They’re easy to spot against the forest backdrop and just as packed with seeds. So if you’re trekking through the forest, these red pods are your friends.

Pitcher Plants: A Berry Harvester’s Delight

Got a Berry Harvester like a trike? Then pitcher plants are your next stop… They give out Plant X seeds too. It’s more hit or miss compared to seed pods, but it’s a lot safer than tangling with swamp dwellers.

Where to Find Pitcher Plants?

Head north from the Green OB towards a large mountain… You’ll find a plateau by the river, & that’s where the pitcher plants hang out. The coordinates are 47.2, 76.2 – a safer spot with fewer dangers lurking.

West Side Story

Hanging out on the west side of the map?? Then check out 66.8, 68.2… There’s this conspicuous rock outcropping with a vibrant red plant X seed pod nestled below. It’s more exposed, so keep your guard up – but the visibility means you can spot danger from a distance.

What About Cattails?

Old-school players remember getting Plant X seeds from cattails, but that’s not the case now… Keep an eye on updates though, devs might bring that back.

Tips for the Hunt

  • Stay Light on Your Feet: The quicker you are -> the less chance of running into trouble.

  • Utilize Flyers: Flyers aren’t just for show… – they’re your best bet for a quick in-and-out operation.

  • Daytime is the Right Time: Visibility is your friend; avoid seed hunting at night when you can’t see what’s lurking.

  • Bring a Buddy: If you can, bring a fellow survivor; there’s safety in numbers, plus it’s more fun.

  • Fernando

Fernando is doing what he always did, sharing his honest opinions about games whenever he can. The difference is now he is writing and not talking about it.
