Gearing Up

First off, you gotta get your gear right… We’re talking about a crossbow (actually, make it two – one for a grappling hook, another for knockout darts), a long neck rifle for those precise shots, & of course, a flyer. The Pteranodon is your best choice here; it’s nimble & got enough stamina to keep up with a Quetzal. Also, don’t forget to pick up some Tranq darts & arrows – you’ll need ’em…

Finding the Quetzal

Now it’s time to hit the skies… Your mission?? spot a Quetzal; these big birds love to wander, so keep your eyes peeled. When you spot one, it’s go time… They’re like the ultimate high-flyers of Ark Survival Ascended, always on the move. -> these majestic creatures make for top notch transport, especially if you’ve got a bunch of stuff to haul around…

The Dance in the Skies

Here’s where it gets real… You’re up in the air, & your target’s in sight. Time to pull some slick moves:

Jump off the Pteranodon -> yeah, you heard that right.

Quick! Whip out your crossbow & grapple right back onto your winged ride.

Use that ‘comma’ key (who even uses that, right?) to make your Pteranodon tail that Quetzal like there’s no tomorrow.

Shots Fired

It’s all about aim & timing now.

Aim for the head – that’s where you’ll hit ’em hardest.

Keep commanding your Pteranodon to follow the Quetzal… patience is key

Fire away until that majestic bird decides to take a nap, courtesy of your darts.

Touchdown & Tame

Alright, your Quetzal is down for the count… Carefully land with your Pteranodon (don’t forget to ungrapple). Now hustle, get those narcotics & taming food ready – these creatures wake up fast & hungry.

Protect Your Tame: While your Quetzal is unconscious, it’s vulnerable; you might want to set up some spike walls around it to keep it safe from other predators…

Pro Tips

Be patient. It’s like tryin’ to thread a needle while ridin’ a roller coaster.

Aim right. Headshots are your golden ticket.

Keep an eye on that stamina. Nobody likes fallin’ outta the sky right??

Bring enough supplies. Runnin’ out of darts or food mid-tame?? That’s a no-go.
