Age of Wonders 4: Siege Warfare Guide
When a city is attacked, a siege takes place. The primary goal of the attacker is to reduce the city’s Fortification to 0, which allows them to launch a siege battle. Fortification is reduced by 10 points each turn, and this rate can be increased using Siege Projects or units with the Siege Breaker attribute.
Siege Projects
Siege Projects are critical tools for both the attacker and defender during a siege. They provide various bonuses and advantages, such as dealing additional damage to Fortification or affecting unit performance. Each empire can utilize two Siege Projects simultaneously, and this number can be increased with the Progression Siege Specialization and Siege Masters empire skills.
