Alien: Rogue Incursion – Save and Config File Locations Guide

Alien: Rogue Incursion

Alien: Rogue Incursion pushes the Alien universe to a whole new level of terror in VR. You’ll be taking on the role of Zula Hendricks, an ex-Colonial Marine looking to expose the shady experiments of Weyland-Yutani. Unfortunately, things go from bad to worse when you land on the Purdan planet, finding yourself trapped in a research facility swarming with Xenomorphs. Your only companions? A synth named Davis 01, a whole lot of guns, and that nagging feeling something’s always right behind you. Oh, and the weight of humanity’s future resting on your shoulders—no big deal.

While you’re out there trying to avoid dying from an acid-blooded alien, you’ll probably want to keep your progress safe, right? The worst thing that can happen is to lose all that well-deserved survival after barely escaping a Xeno ambush. So, here is where to find your save files and config files so you can focus on the important stuff—like not becoming alien chow.

Config File Location

Want to change some settings to make your survival more interesting, or do you simply want to have a bit of fun with the game—which we will not judge? Here’s where your config files are located:

Location:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Midnight\Saved\Config\Windows

Just paste that into your file explorer, and you’ll be staring at all the config goodies. Change things around if you like, but you’ve been warned—one wrong setting, and you could turn those terrifying Xenomorphs into… well, even more terrifying invisible Xenomorphs. Or worse—aliens with terrible Wi-Fi. Handle with caution!

Save Game File Location

Want to avoid replaying the whole game after a jump scare sent you running for your life? Well, here is where your save files live, safe and sound (hopefully) from the Xenomorphs:

Location:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Midnight\Saved\SaveGames

Save files hang out here, serenely unreachable by the Alien’s rampages. Backup your saves constantly, if you cherish either one or your sanity. There’s nothing worse than sneaking by Xenos for hours on end, only to slip up because one forgot to save their progress. It happens, as I have learned firsthand.
