How to Get All Endings in Amnesia: The Bunker

Amnesia: The Bunker offers two distinct endings, dependent on how you handle your final encounter with the Stalker Beast in the game.

The Beast Unleashed (Ending 1)

This is for those of you who’d rather not mess with the Beast and would prefer to let it live another day:

  • Your first step is to reach the vast set of wooden and metal bridges in the game’s grand finale. Each path will lead you to a wall that you must scale to find the bunker’s exit.

  • You’ve got one big, gnarly problem – the Stalker Beast. Dodge this creature, firing shots to stun it when necessary.

  • Next, stack up the wooden crates – both big and small – to build a ladder of platforms. Hop across these platforms to get over the wall.

  • Once you’re out of the bunker, you emerge into the sunlight and land in a puddle of water. Take a peek back at the cave exit, and you’ll see the Beast busting out, letting out a howl, and bolting left.

  • You can hear the sound of approaching German soldiers from the right, before the screen cuts to the credits.

The Beast Bites the Dust (Ending 2)

This is for the players who don’t mind getting their hands dirty and taking out the Beast:

  • Begin by heading over to the vast network of wooden and metal bridges in the game’s final showdown.

  • Instead of playing the evasion game with the Beast, you’re going to want to lure it onto a wooden bridge. Use a well-timed grenade or a powerful shotgun blast to send both the bridge and the Beast into the abyss.

  • Once the Beast takes the plunge, the wall blocking your way will crumble, clearing your path to the exit.

  • You’ll escape the bunker once again, landing in a puddle outside. But when you look back this time, no Beast will be chasing you out. The familiar sounds of German soldiers will still echo from the right.

  • With that, the credits roll, signaling the end of your journey.

Special Mention: Taking a Dive into the Abyss

While not technically an ending, it’s worth mentioning.

  • If you tumble into the Abyss during the final stage – Beast or no Beast – you’ll find yourself endlessly falling into the void.

  • Then, unexpectedly, a train appears and flattens you, sending you back to the loading screen.
