Anno 1800 Savegame Location Guide (Windows)

Default Savegame Path

Savegames are stored in your Documents folder at:

%userprofile%\Documents\Anno 1800\accounts

Steps to Access the Folder

Method 1: Direct Path

Open File Explorer (press Win + E).

Paste %userprofile%\Documents\Anno 1800\accounts into the address bar.

Press Enter to jump directly to the folder.

Method 2: Manual Navigation

Go to This PC > Documents.

Open the Anno 1800 folder.

Navigate to the accounts subfolder.

Folder Structure Explained

Account Subfolders

Inside the accounts folder, you’ll find subfolders named with unique IDs (e.g., UplayID or UbisoftConnectID).

These IDs correspond to your Ubisoft account.

Savegame Files

Your saves, screenshots, and settings are stored in your account’s subfolder.

Important Notes

Cloud Saves

If you use Ubisoft Connect or Steam Cloud, saves sync online. Local files still remain in the folder above.

Backup Saves

Copy the entire accounts folder to back up your progress.

Mods/Custom Files

Modded saves or custom configurations may also be stored here.

Warning

Avoid deleting or editing files unless you’re creating backups.
