Ark: Survival Ascended – Finding Your Body with No Death Marker
Yo what’s up Ark players? Lost your body & don’t know where to look? No sweat; here’s the lowdown on finding yourself (well, your in-game self) when the game leaves you high & dry without a death marker…
Get Yourself a Direwolf
First things first, snag a Direwolf… These bad boys are not just for looking cool, they got this killer ability to show health status of creatures & stuff, including your dead body. When you’re close to a creature or, in this case, your corpse, the Direwolf shows these plus signs that change colors based on health – green, yellow, orange, red, and white for the dearly departed. So yeah, grab a Direwolf & you’re halfway there.
Time to Scout
Alright, you got your Direwolf, Now it’s time to retrace your steps. Think back to where you were flying before the crash, Start in that general area. Hop on your Direwolf & keep your eyes peeled for those health indicators. It’s a bit of a treasure hunt but hey, beats losing all your gear, right??
Patience is Key
This part can be a drag, not gonna lie, You might need to circle around a bit & it can feel like looking for a needle in a haystack. But stay chill & keep at it, Your Direwolf will eventually sniff out your body.
Recover & Regroup
Once you spot those white plus signs, congrats! You found your body. Grab your stuff & high-tail it back to your base, If you got your flyers marked on the tracking tab, it’s easy to head back to them.
Using Dino Group
- Pop open the tracking tab,
- Choose the Dino Group you wanna track. Maybe you were flying an RG or chilling with a Pteranodon before the oops moment,
- Mark them as points of interest so you can find your way back.
