ATLAS – Death & Respawning

You’ll die if your health reaches zero — but it isn’t the end. When you die, you can either respawn as the same character or create a new character from scratch.

• You can respawn in a random location in your home region (which can be changed). in your current location (on certain grids). or if you’ve crafted and placed a bed somewhere. you can respawn there instead.

• If you choose to respawn as the same character. you’ll keep your level. stats. and skills. but you’ll lose everything in your inventory.

• All of your lost possessions remain on your dead body. If you can reach it within 15 minutes, you can reclaim them. But beware! Whatever killed you the first time may still be lurking about (and other players can also loot your dead body too).

• A glowing beacon will appear above your dead body to help guide the way.
