Atomfall: PC Save File Location

You’ve been exploring the strange parts of Northern England in Atomfall right? Avoiding cultists maybe having an odd conversation with a mutated badger – typical stuff after a “small” nuclear event.

Now, you want to know where the game stores your progress? Good thinking. You might want to back it up before you try something stupid, or maybe you’re just wondering where all those hours of sneaking and scavenging exist on your computer. Unlike finding good biscuits in the quarantine zone, finding your save files is pretty easy.

Locating Your Atomfall Files (The Save Files):

No need to interpret weird symbols on standing stones for this one. Your PC has a less mysterious spot for game saves.

Here’s the route you should follow in your File Explorer:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Atomfall\PC_ProfileSaves\<user-id>\

How to Get There Fast:

Hit Windows Key + R to open the Run box. Copy %LOCALAPPDATA%\Atomfall\PC_ProfileSaves\ and paste it into the box.

Then press Enter. Look for a folder with a long string of numbers and letters (this is your userid). Open it.
