Strafe Jump was the most popular technique used in the old days of Call of Duty. Strafe jumping allows you to jump further by executing a slight mouse movement while being in the air. The idea is to commence your jump by pressing and holding the W and A keys to steer your model (left and forward). Then, the sprint button. Finally, when you are in the air, you rotate the mouse into the jump.
