How to Use Melee Weapons Effectively

Melee weapons can be extremely important if you’re trying to avoid drawing attention to yourself when your current weapon isn’t a great choice for close-quarters combat, or when you’ve run out of ammo.

How do you Melee?

• PS4 – R3 Button

• Xbox One – Push down right analog stick

The optimal melee attack is, as you might expect, from behind. Attacking at the right moment will trigger a takedown animation and one-hit kill. If you’re approaching your target from the side, do your best to angle behind them to trigger the same takedown. A frontal approach is the most dangerous and definitely not recommended – unless you really enjoy dodging bullets from point-blank range.

Assasinate Enemies In Tight Spots

The Combat knife works great especially in tight spots where you can nullify the effective range of weapons.
