Controls for DiRT Rally 2.0

Wanna actually WIN in DiRT Rally 2.0 instead of starring in a demolition derby? Then get your head in the game and learn the controls. Seriously, it’s the difference between setting hot laps and hot messes. Before you mash everything and blame the game, let’s make sure you know what button does what.

Xbox One Controls

Here’s how to handle the action on Xbox One:

RT – Accelerator. The harder you press, the faster you go.

LT – Footbrake. Apply more pressure for a stronger stop.

RB – Toggle headlights on or off.

LB – Turn on the windscreen wipers.

Left Stick – Steer your car.

Right Stick – Look around. Move the camera left, right, up, or down. Click R3 to check behind you.

Y – Switch between camera views.

B – Handbrake for sharp turns and tight corners.

A – Shift up a gear.

X – Shift down a gear.

D-Pad Down – Recover your car if you wipe out or flip over.

D-Pad Up – Quick roadside repairs for minor damage like punctured tires.

PS4 Controls

If you’re tearing up the track on PS4, here’s what you need to know:

R2 – Accelerator. Press harder for more speed.

L2 – Footbrake. The more you press, the harder you stop.

R1 – Turn headlights on or off.

L1 – Activate windscreen wipers.

Left Stick – Steer your car.

Right Stick – Look around. Move the camera left, right, up, or down. Click R3 to check behind you.

Triangle – Switch between camera views.

Circle – Handbrake for quick drifts and tight turns.

X – Shift up a gear.

Square – Shift down a gear.

D-Pad Down – Recover your car if you crash or roll over.
