Dawn of Man – Manual Orders

In Dawn of Man, you can assign pretty much any task to your villagers. Kids are limited to basic stuff, like hauling or simple gathering, because they can’t use tools. Adults, on the other hand, will usually grab a tool if the task calls for it.
To move a settler, just right-click on where you want them to go. If you’re in a hurry, double-click and they’ll jog over there. You can also have them pick up items with the same method. Just a heads up: kids can’t handle the heavy lifting, so don’t expect them to carry logs or stones.
When you’ve assigned a task correctly, the task icon or building will light up in green. If something’s not right, like if the task isn’t doable or they don’t have the necessary tools, it’ll turn red.
