Demonsomnia: How to Play (Controls)

Demonsomnia is a game inspired by Phasmophobia that boasts awesome graphics and very similar gameplay. It’s packed with tons of items, and this quick guide is here to show you how to use them and go over the basic controls.

Basic Controls:

• Microphone (V): Used for communication or triggering certain in-game events.

• Drop Item (G): To discard an item from your inventory.

• Pick Up Item (F): To collect items found throughout the game.

• L is your flashlight. Because nobody likes bumping into furniture… or demons.

• Weapons (1): Access your weapon inventory.

• Items (2): Open your item inventory for non-weapon objects.

• Heal (H): Use to heal your character.

• Reload (R): Reload your weapon’s ammunition.

• Compass (Q): Helps in navigation.

Starting Out:

• When inside the mansion, do not use your weapons as they will explode due to radiation.

• Find the bomb pieces in the forest by following the goats, and use them to blast the steel door in the mansion to access the basement.

Identifying Demons:

• Radiation Finder: This device helps you determine the correct room where a demon is. It lights up red and emits sound when in the correct room, prompting you to test other items.

• Snake: Release it in the rooms. If it freezes and dies, it indicates the presence and type of demon.

• Speech Scanner: Use it to talk to demons that prefer communication. Only works in the correct room.

• Barium Sulfate: Place on the ground and wait for the color to change. A color change indicates that you’re in the correct room.

• Psionic Uprush: Place it on the ground and wait for the beam. If the beam appears, you are in the right room.

• Cross: If the color on the upper left of the cross is red, be prepared for a JumpScare. Hold the cross to prevent it and to understand if a ghost is nearby.

• Ghosts: They spawn near you when you make a sound and die on their own after 20-30 seconds. Circle a table or hide in cabinets to avoid them.
