Every time you want to reset the game, even if the game says to uninstall the game, you need to delete the first file in *\game repository.
Then, when opening the game, click Yes, delete my existing data. Or something; otherwise, the file will be created and resume the game.
This will result in the game back to square one and resets all character files in *\characters and deletes all files in {USER}\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\{DDLC folder}\.
Alternative Method
- Right-click the game and click Properties.
- Go to the Local files tab, then click Verify integrity of game files.
- It will automatically download/refresh game files as it would have a new game.
After, the game screen, when opened, should look like the previous method and do as it says.
