EA Sports FC 24: Config File & Screenshots Location on PC
Before we can tweak any settings, we’ve got to find where EA stashed them. Here’s how to get there:
- Open up your File Explorer. You can hit that little folder icon down on your taskbar, or press Win + E if you’re a keyboard warrior.
- Navigate to Your PC or This PC if you’re on Windows 10.
- Dive into Local Disk (C:).
- Scroll and find the Users folder.
- Inside, select your Username.
- From there, hop into Documents.
- There you have it—your EA Sports FC 24 folder.
Once you’re in, you’re gonna see two files you’re gonna wanna mess with: ButtonDataSetup V1 and FCsetup. Feel free to open ’em up and start fiddling.
Some Tweaks You Can Do in Those Files
Here’s a little sneak peek of the settings you can modify:
- AUDIO_MIX_MODE: Adjust to your preferred audio blend.
- CONFIG_APP_LOCALE: If you’re in the US, you’ll probably stick to en-US.
- FULLSCREEN: Fancy full-screen gaming? Adjust as needed.
- MSAA_LEVEL: Refine those graphics edges.
- RENDERINGQUALITY: Choose your visual quality.
- RESOLUTIONHEIGHT & RESOLUTIONWIDTH: Tailor to your screen dimensions.
…and the list goes on. You can also disable the 3D goal nets, make the game run in borderless mode, and all that jazz…
FC 24 Screenshots Folder
If you’re into capturing your best FC 24 moments, good news! Your Screenshots folder is nestled right in the same directory. Super easy access for all your picture-perfect plays..
Words of Caution
Before you go full throttle:
- Back It Up: Always keep a copy of the original fcsetup files. Trust, you’ll thank yourself later.
- Read & Write, Then Lock: Before you mess with settings, set that file to read and write.
If things go sideways (and hey, sometimes they do), whip out those original files, and everything’s chill again…
