EA Sports FC 24: How to Remove Buttons & Arrows

22

Yo, EA FC crew! Ever been deep in a game, maybe El Clásico or the Manchester Derby, feeling the heat? You’re holding it down on defense, and boom, this annoying arrow jumps in, and you’re like, Man, back off, I got this! I get you. Chill, I’ve got the scoop on how to ditch those arrows and keep your game on point…

What’s the Deal with the Player Change Arrow?

Alright, so what’s the big deal with this ‘player change arrow’ anyway? EA added it in to help out the newcomers, basically saying, “Hey, switch to this defender; he’s your best bet to stop that attacker in his tracks.” It’s pretty handy if you’re just starting out or if you’re more of a casual player. But if you’re someone who’s been grinding in FIFA for years, this little arrow can actually throw you off your game.

How Do I Turn Off the Buttons and Arrows in FC 24?

Alright, you want it gone, so let’s make it happen:

  • Boot up FC 24 and hit up the main menu. You know, the screen with all the options like Career Mode, Ultimate Team, and all that jazz.

  • Navigate your way to the Customize tab. It’s like EA FC’s backstage; you go there to tweak stuff.

  • In the Customize tab, you’re gonna see an option for Settings. Click on that.

  • After Settings, you’ll spot Customize Controls; head in there.

  • Scroll till you find the next player switch indicator option. It’s kinda hiding, but you’ll spot it if you keep an eye out.

  • Select Off. Boom, done. You’ve officially banished that pesky arrow.

I Changed My Mind, How Do I Get it Back??

Hey, no shame in the game; maybe you’re feeling a bit lost without that arrow pointing the way. Good news—it’s not a forever decision.

During a Match: In the middle of a match and regretting the decision?? Just pause the game, head over to Settings then Customize Controls. Flip that switch back to On, and you’re good to go.

From the Main Menu: If you’re not in a match, you can just take it from the top. Head back to the Customize Controls section via the main menu and toggle that arrow back on. Easy peasy…
