EA Sports FC 24: How to Score Every Free Kick

Alright, squad! Ever felt like EA Sports FC 24’s free kicks are some sort of forbidden sorcery? Been there, felt that. But don’t sweat it… If you’re out here wondering how the pros are curving, chipping, and straight-up blasting those free kicks into the net while you’re still stuck in struggle city, I gotchu. We’re about to lay it all out, decode the madness, and turn you into a free-kick wizard. Buckle up and get that controller ready, ’cause we’re diving deep!

Basic Free Kick

  • How to Set It Up: First, ya gotta put that pointer right on top of the ball. Look for those two triangles – one chillin’ on the right and the other at the bottom. Line ’em up straight, and that’s where your pointer needs to be.

  • Aim & Shoot: Use that left stick to aim. The right stick? That’s for moving your pointer. Pro tip: Peep your player’s style. If they rock that “Dead Ball Plus” or “Dead Ball Normal”, they’ve got some mad free kick skills.

Inside Foot Curved: The Classic Curve

  • Set Up: Get that pointer on the bottom right side of the square. When you see “inside foot curved” pop up, you’re golden.

  • Aim & Shoot: Aim just outside the wall. That ball’s gonna curve right back into the net. Use about 2-2.5 bars of power, but if you’re feeling wild, and you’ve got that “Dead Ball Plus” player, push it a bit more. Ideal distance? Between 20 to 25 yards out.

Outside Foot Free Kick: Curve it the Other Way

  • Set Up: Point the pointer to the left side of the square for right-footed players.

  • Aim & Shoot: Give yourself some space outside the wall, cause that ball’s gonna swing back in. Again, 2-2.5 bars of power should do the trick.

Knuckleball

  • Set Up: Aim the pointer at the bottom of the square. It might not say “knuckleball”, but trust, it’s still there.

  • Aim & Shoot: Load it up with 3-3.5 bars of power. This one’s for the long shots, so make sure you’ve got space for that ball to move.

Chipped Free Kick: The Sneaky One

  • Set Up: Put the pointer at the very bottom of the square.

  • Aim & Shoot: This isn’t about scoring but getting the ball into the danger zone. So, think of it as setting up the alley-oop for your teammate.

Outside Foot Low Free Kick

  • Set Up: You’re aiming for a lower trajectory, so aim that pointer just right.

  • Aim & Shoot: With the lower trajectory, you can pack more power, making it harder for the keeper to react.

Inside Foot Low Free Kick: Quick & Curvy

  • Set Up: Similar to the outside foot low, but with that inside foot curve.

  • Aim & Shoot: Get your pointer in position, load up with 3-4 bars of power, and watch that ball whip around the wall.

Lay Off Free Kick: The One-Two Punch

  • Set Up: You’ll need a buddy for this. Press the LT/L2 button to bring in your second player.

  • Aim & Shoot: Hold the cross button, let your second player lay it off, and then BOOM – unleash a power shot…

  • Fernando

Fernando is doing what he always did, sharing his honest opinions about games whenever he can. The difference is now he is writing and not talking about it.
