EA Sports FC 24: How to Score Every Penalty You Take
Penalties, right? We’ve all had those games where penalties felt like the nemesis. But with FC 24, things are looking up! The game’s brought some noteworthy features that can really help in stepping up your penalty game.
Timing is Crucial
- Waiting Game: Watch that circle. If it’s red, don’t even think about it. Yellow? Still a bit risky. Wait for it to get super small for the ideal shot.
- Power Play: Aim for up to 3 bars of power. Go beyond 3.5 bars and you’ll be sending that ball to the moon. Not what we want.
Choosing the Direction
FC 24 is nothing like the previous versions. Now, you have five different directional options:
Top left
Bottom left
Center
Top right
Bottom right
This means more opportunities to get that ball past the goalkeeper! Remember to use the left stick in FC 24 to choose your direction wisely.
Avoid Certain Shots
Here’s a pro tip: avoid shooting towards the middle sides, adjacent to the goalkeeper. That’s basically handing over the ball, and we don’t want that, do we?
Selecting the Right Player
Choose players with high penalty stats, preferably 85+ or better yet, 90+, like Bruno Fernandes… This enhances your chances of scoring significantly.
Variety in Penalty Kicks
- Regular Shots: The classic shot. Wait for the optimal circle size, then let it rip.
- Finesse Shots: Press R1 (PlayStation) or RB (Xbox) and load up to around 3 bars of power. It’s a bit more elegant, a bit more tricky.
- Panenka: Press Hold L1 (PlayStation) or LB (Xbox) and load up that power. It’s slower and kinda risky, but if you wanna flex, this is it. Remember, it’s all about that swag.
Some Extra Tips
- Keep the panenka for those times when you’re feeling extra confident or just in the mood for some showboating.
- When you’re unsure, trust that gut feeling, ya know? Sometimes it ain’t about the numbers or the usual moves, it’s just vibing with the moment…
- Always, ALWAYS aim for the top or bottom corners. It’s a lot harder for goalies to catch those.
- Patience is the key; never rush your shots. Focus, breathe, and get that ball into the net.
