Effects of Aging on Attributes in Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor
As the game progresses, the characters in your party age naturally with each passing in-game year. Additionally, certain creature attacks and spell side effects can cause magical aging.
While magical aging can be reversed using the Black Rejuvenation Potion, natural aging is irreversible. Therefore, strategizing around the inevitability of aging can help you optimize your characters’ performance as the game unfolds.
All characters celebrate their birthdays on the first day of the year, marking their progression in age.
Effects of Aging on Character Attributes in Might and Magic VII
As your characters age, their attributes – Might, Intellect, Personality, Endurance, Accuracy, Speed, and Luck – are adjusted according to their age. This adjustment is expressed by the game as a percentage of the original attribute value.
The following is how various attributes change as your characters age:
Attribute |
Age 0-49 |
Age 50-59 |
Age 100-149 |
Age 150+ |
---|---|---|---|---|
Might | 100% | 75% | 40% | 19% |
Intellect | 100% | 150% | 100% | 10% |
Personality | 100% | 150% | 100% | 10% |
Endurance | 100% | 75% | 40% | 10% |
Accuracy | 100% | 100% | 40% | 10% |
Speed | 100% | 100% | 40% | 10% |
Luck | 100% | 100% | 100% | 100% |
For instance, a character with an initial Might of 100 will experience a decrease to 75 upon reaching age 50. Conversely, if the same character had an initial Intellect of 50, their score would increase to 75 upon reaching age 50.
