Final Fantasy 15 – Secret Dungeons

Final Fantasy 15

Hidden within specific dungeons lie locked vault doors that grant access to challenging secret raids filled with high-level enemies and legendary gear. Here’s how to unlock them:

Step 1: Complete the Main Story

  • Finish all 14 chapters and watch the credits.

  • Create a manual save once the credits end.

Step 2: Prepare for Post-Game

  • Reload your saved game, visit any lodging (camp or motel), and use Umbra to fast-travel freely across the map.

Step 3: Clear Four Key Dungeons

Ensure these dungeons are fully completed:

  • Balouve Mines

  • Crestholm Channels

  • Daurell Caverns

  • Costlemark Tower

Step 4: Obtain the Dungeon Vault Key

  • Travel to Meldacio Hunter HQ, located in northern Cleigne.

  • Speak to the elderly woman seated near the entrance (she’ll appear as a quest marker if prerequisites are met).

  • She will grant the Dungeon Vault Key and assign “Menace Beneath [Dungeon]” quests.

Activating the Raids

  • Track any Menace quest to reveal a vault’s location on your map.

  • Each vault door leads to a multi-level dungeon with escalating difficulty, capped by bosses and elite loot.

Raids Breakdown (By Enemy Level)

  • Keycatrich – Level 55

  • Grotto – Level 65

  • Fociaugh – Level 65

  • Daurell – Level 72

  • Balouve – Level 78

  • Steyliff – Level 86 (longest dungeon – plan accordingly)

  • Crestholm – Level 92

  • Costlemark – Level 99 (peak challenge)

Critical Tips

  • These raids are endgame content – enemies hit hard, and dungeons are lengthy.

  • Bring maxed weapons, ample healing items, and patience.

  • Rewards include the strongest weapons and accessories in Final Fantasy XV.

Prepare thoroughly – the grind is demanding, but the loot is unmatched. Good luck!
