Xbox Settings

First off; let’s hit up the Xbox settings. If you’re tired of hearing everyone & their mom talking trash or just blabbing away in your ear during a race this is where you wanna start.

  • Head on over to your Xbox settings…

  • Navigate through those options until you find the voice chat settings it might take a minute, but you’ll find it.

  • Once you’re there you’ve got a few choices to make -> you can set it to ‘Everyone’ if you’re feeling brave and wanna hear all the voices of the Forza world

  • If you just wanna chat with your pals set it to ‘Friends’. And if you’re totally over it and just want some peace and quiet go ahead and hit ‘Disabled’

  • Save those settings & bam, you’re golden.

In-Game Mute – The Quick Silence Button (But Remember, It’s a Temporary Fix!)

So listen up, here’s a little insider tip for y’all before you hit the track. If you’re chilling in the qualify/practice event screen, just waiting for the race to start & you’re thinking, “Man, I really need some peace and quiet,” I’ve got just the trick for you.

If you’re gaming on your PC, all you gotta do is smash that ‘F‘ key. Yeah, that’s right – just one little tap and you’re in the clear. And for my friends on Xbox, don’t worry, I didn’t forget about you. Just hit that ‘X‘ button & bam! All those other players? Muted.

Xbox Website

Now if you wanna take it a step further we’re going to the web.

  • Pull up your browser & type in account.xbox.com. Log in with the same account you’re gaming with.

  • Find your profile. Should be easy peasy.

  • Scroll on down until you find the ‘Others can communicate with voice text or invites’ section.

  • Here, you’ve got some choices again ‘Everyone’ ‘Friends’ or ‘Block’. If you’re done with all the chatter hit up that Block option.

  • If you just want your buddies to be able to reach you Friends is the way to go.

  • Hit ‘Submit’ at the bottom & boom, you’ve just leveled up your silence game.

Windows Settings – The Sneaky Way

Now for all my PC gamers out there this one’s for you?

  • Find that sound icon on your taskbar, right-click it & hit up ‘Sounds’. Or just type ‘Sounds’ in the Start menu if that’s more your style.

  • Click on over to the ‘Playback’ tab.

  • Right click show those disabled devices & find one that’s not plugged in.

  • Enable that bad boy and set it as your default communication device.

  • Now all that game chat?? Yeah, it’s going nowhere. Silence my friend.

  • Fernando

Fernando is doing what he always did, sharing his honest opinions about games whenever he can. The difference is now he is writing and not talking about it.
