Foundation is the ultimate medieval city-building sandbox where the grids are banned, creativity is law, and villagers are just a bit too needy. Developed by Polymorph Games, this is a game that throws you into the role of the visionary town planner, charged with shaping an organic, grid-free settlement while trying to balance resources, build monuments, and keep villagers happy-or at least not in revolt.

With a strong focus on freeform construction and complex resource management, Foundation’s the perfect fit for anyone looking to create a stunning medieval town that doesn’t look like it was ripped straight from a math textbook. Just be prepared for the occasional “Why are we out of food again?” moment along the way.

Let this guide help you vanquish the keyboard and take to the reins of your up-and-coming kingdom-after all, even the greatest ruler in the world can’t do a lot when he’s scrambling for the pause button.
