Green Hell – Water – Filling Up Your Thirst
Water is completely essential in surviving in Green Hell. You won’t be able to do much if you’re dying of thirst, especially if you’re going up against the natives.
The easiest way to get water is by drinking from a dirty, or unsafe stream or pond, BUT DON’T DO IT!
Drinking water that is’nt clean will lead to parasites, and the more you drink the more you get, leading to death in minutes.
The next best option early in the game is coconuts, you can break them open quite easily and drink from them to gain about 15 water. After eating the coconuts you will get halves that you can play with. Use the coconut halves by placing them on the ground to collect water, they can collect up to 10 water per half.
After you have a few of those halves down, take a drinkable coconut and combine it with a rope to make a Coconut Bidon. This can be used to carry water to and fro places. If you make a fire you can set the coconut halves on the sides of the fire and pour water into them, this boils the water for safe consumption.
After some exploration you make come across water filters and water collectors, set up a few of these around your base to ensure you always have clean drinkable water available.
