Heroes of Hammerwatch 2: Save File Location
You’ve been playing Heroes of Hammerwatch 2 for a long time, right? Getting swole, prepping, and making the dungeon bosses regret their actions. But what if tragedy strikes? A new PC, a computer crash, you name it… Those important save files must be secured!! Let’s talk about where to find them & how to back them up.
Where are my saved files hidden?
They are found here:
C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Heroes of Hammerwatch II\saves
(The following assumes a regular steam installation; yours may vary if you installed Steam in a custom location).
How can I get there?
Open File Explorer.
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Heroes of Hammerwatch II
Inside you will locate the saves folder. This folder holds your saved files.
Why are these saved files so important?
Treat your save data like legendary treasure. Always create a backup!! Transfer them to a cloud storage account, USB device or external hard drive. (You do not want to lose all of your progress due to a random crash)
Getting a new computer? Not a problem!! Simply copy the save files to the same location on your new computer to get back into the game.
