However, there are a few things you should know before applying for a trade, since picking a team isn’t always easy. You have to get other teams interested in you and pick the right roles. Here are a few steps you need to follow to request a trade in NBA 2K23.

TRADING REQUIREMENTS IN NBA 2K23

Pick your team carefully. Once you are on a new team, you will have to play a few games before you become eligible to be traded once again.

If you want to transfer to a specific team, you will have to play at least 10 regular-season games for them. All trading requests must be submitted before the end of the trading deadline.

Go to the Player Menu and press X/A to propose a trade by selecting “Request a Trade” from the menu.

A new list will appear showcasing all the teams that are interested in signing you up.

Select the team you want to play for and make sure not to miss the deadline.

Also keep track of the team interest percentage, since it determines how quickly you can get traded to your team of choice. Teams with a lower interest percentage will take longer to transfer you and vice versa.

You can also consider reducing the game difficulty and increasing the total number of minutes per quarter if you’re having trouble.

You can simulate games to raise a team’s interest in you. It’s the fastest way to raise interest percentage but it’s equally risky. Simulating games can even worsen your performance, so you should do a few things to ensure that doesn’t happen.

Your overall skills, rating, and minute allocation also affect the outcome of the simulation. To raise the odds, earn more minutes before running simulations. Play a few games and raise your average to 34+ minutes per game to ensure positive results in a simulated game.

For instance, you can raise the interest percentage by 2-4% if you simulate 4 games after playing 14 matches while playing 12 minutes per quarter.

Also avoid simulations if the opposing team has powerful guards such as Jrue Holiday, Kawhi Leonard, etc. Simulations won’t cut it and you need to outplay them with a variety of moves which you can learn in our NBA 2K23 guides.
