How to Skip Cutscenes in NBA 2K23

Cutscenes are great and all, but they can get annoying after you’ve spent hundreds of hours in the game. Some players want to skip the theatrics and move straight to the gameplay, and in this guide, you’ll learn how to do the same.

HOW TO SKIP CUTSCENES

Skipping dialogues and cutscenes lets you progress faster through the game.

Most of NBA 2K23’s cutscenes and dialogues are skippable. Whenever a dialogue or cutscene appears on the screen that you want to skip, press and hold down the A on Xbox One & Series X and X on PS4 & PS5.

You’ll have to hold down the button until a red circle around the X/A button at the bottom of the screen completely fills up.

There are no limits to how many times you can use the skip feature.

There are no penalties for skipping a scene. However, you’ll be missing out on content such as a character’s story and their gradual rise to the top of the pro ladder.
