How to Spend Stat Points in ATLAS
/Whenever you earn a new level, you can improve one of your character’s fundamental attributes by selecting one of the stats on your Inventory screen. (Health and Weight are good ones to start with.)
Stat Points
- Health is your hit points, pure and simple.
- Stamina is energy you expend to run, jump, swim, harvest, or make melee attacks.
- Fortitude is your resistance to weather, disease, poison, and similar effects. – Weight is how much you stuff can carry around with you.
- Intelligence improves your crafting speed and quality (for high quality, looted blueprints only) as well as reduces the cooldown of Feats.
There are a few other character stats which can’t be raised via stat points, but are very important to your survival. Be sure to feed and hydrate your character regularly to avoid gaining starvation and dehydration debuffs.
- Food is a measure of how well fed you are and how long you can resist starvation.
- Water is the same thing, but for dehydration.
- Oxygen determines how long you last underwater.
